meet the winemaker
Jeff Hundertmark
An award-winning Winemaker and Sommelier, Jeff relocated to B.C. in 2017 after an illustrious career in Ontario including Marynissen Estate Winery and Stoney Ridge Estate Winery where he was able to produce Estate wines as well as the successful celebrity brand for the Tragically Hip and his own label 100Marks.
The wine making philosophy behind each bottle is something he takes very seriously. Jeff believes there is a place for wines to be cherished for years; as big age-worthy collectables, but also as important, there is a place for fresh wines ready for early consumption.

The wines

Our mission is to express this amazing land by crafting distinctive wines that draw on low yields, honest winemaking, and patient aging.
The Mt. Boucherie Estate series is made in three distinct tiers.
Our white label wines are made in a crisp, refreshing style meant for early consumption.
The Reserves are aged for 12 – 22 months in barrel and are meant to age gracefully in your cellar.
Summit and Contessa are the pinnacle of our efforts showcasing the best blocks and barrels from our 200 acres of vines.
New in 2020
Original Vines Series
With vineyards first established in the 80's and 90's we felt it was time to really hone in on some of these old blocks and keep them separate from our other families of wines.
We have crafted these small lots from vines that were planted prior to the year 2000.
Winemaker Jeff Hundertmark has treated the fruit as gently as possible and made every effort to give the best reflection of these choice sites as possible.
Modest Wine Series
We couldn’t have a Modest Butcher Kitchen without some Modest Wines to pair.
This collection of wines has been made in the spirit of experimentation and risk taking while also paying homage to some of the classic regions of the wine world.
With these wine made based on the season, varietals at hand and on whim of the winemakers experimental tendencies, each year will bring a new set of fresh concepts and flavours.
